Welcome to Cypress Falls Bands

Cypress Falls High School is a large 6A campus located in North West Houston, Texas. Our band program is designed to give students a life changing experience that fosters growth and excellence. We pride ourselves in providing a healthy place for our members to feel accepted and welcome. Being part of our program means that you have support from band members in all aspects of your high school career. We give all of our students the same guarantee: You will be treated with respect, you will not be shamed for making mistakes, and we will do everything within our power to support you during your time with us.

We are a 29 time UIL Sweepstakes award winner, 13 time Bands of America Regional Finals, and a 7 time Texas State Marching Band participant. In 2006, the Cypress Falls Band earned the Sudler Flag of Honor from the Sousa Foundation. The band program continues to work to provide an opportunity for students to perform and compete at a superior level within the musical activity.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals shift to mornings only:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8 AM until 11 AM
Saturday: 8 AM until 12 PM
No rehearsal Wednesday

Band Booster Meeting
Our first Booster Meeting is Tuesday, August 4th at 7 PM, Cypress Falls Band Hall, Door 21. Meetings typically run about an hour, but this first one will run closer to 90 minutes. We'd love to see you there!

9th Grade Orientation
This Thursday is 9th Grade Orientation. All freshmen and their families should attend. This is the formal introduction to the high school for both students and parents.

Looking Ahead
Fish Camp, August 10th. All incoming freshmen should attend this fun welcome day, where they'll explore the building and get familiar with the campus. That evening, the rest of the band will perform in a short pep rally. Report times coming later this week.

First Day of School, August 12th.
Friday Night Lights, August 14th. This is our first public performance of the show, with the entire band performing on the field. Think of it like an outdoor pep rally: all spirit organizations, band, cheer, and dance, will each perform, followed by a football team introduction ahead of their practice.
