Congratulations
to the
Cypress Falls Symphonic Band

on their Third place finish at the Area E contest.  As only two advance to the TMEA State Level, 3rd place serves as the alternate to State.  This finish places us in the top 21 of 5A Texas High School Bands.  Our recording was well received including 1st and 2nd place votes, however in this tight competition we just missed the top two spots.

on being selected as one of three high school winners of the 2008 PAS Percussion Ensemble International Competition.
They will perform a concert at the 2008
Percussive Arts Society International Convention
in Austin Texas. Congratulations again on your hard work.

Aramark Fundraiser

TABC training will be held for all those that wish to participate in the Aramark fundraiser. You must be 18 or older, and the charge is $25. Class will be held at the Band Hall starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 26.

Krogar Donation Program

Kroger’s has made it MUCH easier to participate in the grocery program where they give our organization a percentage when we shop there. All you have to do is download and print the this letter and bring it in to Kroger’s with you. When you go to checkout they’ll scan the barcode on this letter once and you are enrolled for the year. You don’t have to bring the letter again. Every time they scan your Kroger’s Plus card it will also contribute to our program.

If you have other family members or friends that shop at Kroger’s as well, give them a copy of the letter and they can do it too. It doesn’t matter if they’re a band booster or not, it will still contribute to our organization. This is a really easy way for us to make money.
